We choose the right leathers for each use: vegetable-tanned upper leathers or full-grain cowhide. The first leather (the part in contact with the arch of the foot) is 2.5 mm thick vegetable-tanned upper leather.
Leather is a living material that does not take pigment in the same way, which can explain variations in shade.
