The fit is excellent: the foot opening is easy to slip into thanks to the hidden side elastic, covered by a piece of leather. Comfortable and durable, this casual city boot is easy to wear with jeans, canvas trousers, a skirt or shorts. No need to wait to wear them: the wear pad is already fitted to the leather sole.
Leather is a living material that does not take pigment in the same way, which may explain variations in shade.
Tips and tricks
on leather care
Don’t hesitate to waterproof them* to protect them. A quick brush removes dust, and your LA CAMARGUAISE gardiane boots will develop a patina over time. You can use SAPHIR’s Rénovétine to revive the colour. If they get wet, there’s no real harm: let them dry away from any heat source. For a grease stain, sprinkle with Sommières earth. For heavy soiling, or for a thorough clean, use water and Marseille soap.

Handmade
The Goodyear welt (or Goodyear-stitched construction) is a double stitching. The first stitch joins the upper, the insole and the welt (a small strip of leather placed between two layers of leather to reinforce the seam), and a second stitch attaches the welt to the outsole. Goodyear welt construction is synonymous with very high-end quality and allows the boots to be resoled.
