on leather care
We recommend waterproofing them* to protect them. A quick brush removes dust, and your La Camarguaise gardian boots will develop a patina over time. You can use Rénovétine to revive the colour. If they get wet, don’t worry: let them dry away from any heat source. For a grease stain, sprinkle with Sommières earth. For heavy soiling, or for a complete clean, use water and Marseille soap.

Handmade
The Goodyear welt (or Goodyear stitching) is a double seam. The first seam joins the upper, the insole and the welt (a small strip of leather placed between two layers of leather to strengthen the seam), and a second seam attaches the welt to the outsole. Goodyear welt construction is synonymous with very high-end quality and allows the boot to be resoled.
